So why not this time instead of offering sweets from the market to Bajrangbali, make gram flour laddus at home. Let’s teach you how to make Besan laddus today…
Ingredients for Besan Ladoo
Besan – 2 cups
Sugar powder – 1.5 cups
Desi Ghee – 1 cup
Almonds – 25 (finely chopped)
Cashew nuts – 25 (finely chopped)
Cardamom powder – tsp
Pistachios – for garnishing
How to make Besan Ladoo
To make gram flour ladoos, first put one and a half cup of desi ghee in the pan. When the ghee starts melting, add gram flour to it and fry it while stirring continuously with a spoon. When the gram flour turns light brown in color and the aroma starts rising from the gram flour, then sprinkle a tablespoon of water in it. This will make the gram flour-like foam. Keep frying it while stirring it till its foam is gone. After this turn off the flame and take out the gram flour on a dry plate to cool down.
Finely chop dry fruits (cashew nuts, pistachios and almonds). When the gram flour cools down a bit, add chopped dry fruits and mix it well. After this, add sugar powder (ground sugar) and cardamom powder and mix it well with a spoon. The mixture for making gram flour ladoos is ready. Now take this mixture on your hand and shape it like a round laddu. When it becomes round, garnish it with a little chopped needle pistachio. Now it is ready to be served.
