Both these bikes will get fuel injection and revised exhaust system in their engines. The engine casing, chain cover and fork finished in the BS-VI CT 100 will be in black and not silver colour. However, all the changes are not yet known. The company has not told what will be new in Platina now.
The Bajaj CT 100 will be powered by a single cylinder, air-cooled motor that generates 7.5 bhp and 8.24 Nm of torque at 700 rpm. On the other hand, Bajaj CT 110 generates 8.4 bhp and 9.81 torque at 7000 rpm.
Let us know that traditionally fuel injection is used to upgrade the performance of the system, but this system will be quite economical. The company says that this system has been developed by Bajaj’s research and development team. Due to the EI system, the mileage of the bike becomes good.
Actually, now before the implementation of BS-6 norms in India, all the bike makers are competing to launch the bike with BS-6 engine in the market. Just a few days back, Royal Enfield has launched BS-VI versions of the nterceptor 650 and Himalayan in the market. Apart from this, BS-6 versions of KTM’s 390 Adventure and 250 Duke were also launched. The price of both these bikes was between 2.5 lakh to three lakh.
