Ingredients for making Fig Date Roll
200 grams of figs soaked in water
150 grams of dates soaked in water
2 chopped figs
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup cashew nuts
2 tsp desi ghee
How to make Fig Date Roll
To make Fig Date Roll, first of all, soak figs and dates in water for 2 hours. After that take out the water and grind them. Now roast almonds and cashew nuts and grind them coarsely in a mixer. Mix this powder with the paste of figs and dates. Now take a kadhai and after heating it, add desi ghee to it. After this, add the date-fig paste to it. Fry it while stirring till its water is gone. After that turn off the gas. Now spread it on a plate. Keep in mind that the layer should not be too thick or else the roll will not be able to form. After this, garnish it with finely chopped dry fruits and finely chopped figs.
