Ingredients for Coconut Barfi
Dry coconut (grated) – 1 bowl
Mawa (Khoya) – 1 cup
Ghee – 1/2 cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Cardamom powder – a pinch
water to make syrup
How to make Coconut Barfi
To make Special Coconut Barfi, first take sugar and make sugar syrup by boiling it in water. Now put grated dry coconut (copra) in this syrup and mix it well. Keep the gas on medium flame. Now add ghee and khoya to it and mix it well.
In order to avoid lumps in this mixture, keep in mind that keep stirring it continuously. Now add cardamom powder to it and mix it well.
When the mixture mixes well, take it out in a plate. Keep the plate already greased with ghee. Now take out the mixture from the plate and leave it for a while. Apply some ghee on top.
Now spread it well and cut it into the shape of barfi. After some time your barfi will freeze. Now take it out and serve it to the people.
