Dry red chili – 3
Cinnamon – 2 small pieces
Bay leaves – 2
Cloves – 5
Big cardamom – 1
small cardamom – 3

How to make Dhaba Style Gravy
To make dhaba style gravy, first take a wok and put it on medium flame and heat the oil. When the oil becomes hot, add dry coconut and fry it. Fry them till the color of the coconut becomes light brown. After this add dry red chili, cinnamon pieces, bay leaves, cloves, big cardamom and small cardamom. Now stir fry all these till they become golden.

After this add onion, ginger and garlic and fry them till they become golden. After this, put cashew nuts in it and fry for about five minutes till it turns golden color. When the onion is fried well, then add tomato and salt to it. Then fry them while stirring for about three minutes. Now add 2 cups of water to it and cook covered on medium flame for at least 10 minutes. After cooking for 10 minutes, switch off the gas and let it cool down. When the mixture cools down, put it in a jar and make a paste.

Now put 2 tbsp oil in the same pan and heat it on medium flame. After it becomes hot, add 1 tsp cumin powder, coriander powder and 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and fry it while stirring on low flame. When it is roasted well, add the pre-made paste and fry it on medium flame. Continue this process for about three to four minutes. In this way your dhaba style gravy is ready.
