Ingredients for making Dum Aloo

Potato – 1/2 kg
Curd – 3 tbsp
Red chili – 1 tsp
Saunth – 2 tsp
Garam Masala – 2 tsp
Fennel Powder – 1 tsp
Green cardamom – 2
Salt – as per taste
Oil
Water

How to make Dum Aloo
To make Dum Aloo, first take the potatoes and grind them in half and cut them. Now take a pan and heat oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, put the chopped potatoes in it and deep fry them well. When the potatoes are deep fried well, take them out and pierce the potatoes with the help of a fork or toothpick. Now keep them aside.

Now take a bowl and mix all the dry powdered spices in it. Now add water and prepare a paste of these spices. Heat some oil in a pan again and add cardamom to it. Now add the prepared spice paste to it. Run it for four to five minutes. After this, add fried potatoes to it. Along with this, put curd in it from above.
Cover and let the dum aloo cook for five minutes. In this way your Dum Aloo is ready. If you want, you can garnish green coriander on top. In dinner, serve Dum Aloo with roti, paratha or naan to the guests.
