Ingredients for Gujarati Kadhi
Sour curd – 2 cups
Besan – 2 tbsp
Water – 4 cups
Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Cinnamon Powder – 1/4 tsp
Sugar – 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 2 tsp
Curry leaves – 8-10
Steep red chili – 3
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Salt – as per taste

How to make Gujarati Kadhi
To make Gujarati Kadhi, first of all take curd and beat it well. When it becomes smooth, add gram flour to it. Now beat it again so that it remains smooth. Now add red chili powder, cinnamon powder, asafoetida, sugar, salt and water to it. Now mix all these well in curd-gram flour. Now take a pan and heat oil in it. When the oil becomes hot, add mustard seeds, red chili and curry leaves and fry it. When these spices start crackling, add curd mixture to it. Now let all these cook on high flame and let the curry boil well.

Once the curry comes to a boil, slow down the flame. After this again increase the flame and let the curry come to a boil. Let the curry cook in this way for about 20 minutes. In this way your Gujarati Kadhi is ready. Now garnish it with green coriander. Now the curry is ready to be served hot.
