New Delhi. Talking about the best selling bike in India, only the name of Hero Splendor comes to the fore. A big reason for this is its mileage. The company launched it as a simple bike to be used in daily work. However, these stereotypes associated with the original bike were broken by pictures of a modified Splendor when an Instagram user shared it. This new cafe racer avatar of Splendor has been created by Nikhil, who according to his bio runs a bike modification business in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. In the pictures, the modified Splendor looks completely different from its original design. If seen, looking at this modified bike, one cannot guess that there is a Splendor. The only engine in this entire bike is of Splendor.
This is the modification of this bike
Yellow colored headlight has been given in this modified version. On which the mark of X is visible. The mudguards have been removed from the bike while the old tires have been replaced with wider block pattern tires at the front and rear. Silver colored fuel tank has been given on which it is written Custom Edition Cafe Racer. The original seat of the Splendor has been replaced with a single saddle seat.
This thing also makes it different
The handlebar of the bike is also aftermarket designed cafe racer. The instrument cluster has been changed and upgraded from a smaller one dial design which only indicates speed. If seen, almost all the parts of this bike are seen aftermarket including the free flow exhaust. Since no change has been made in the engine, then looking at the look of this bike only, it would be wrong to say that it will be more powerful now.
Modification of vehicles is illegal
It will also be necessary to mention here that the modification of vehicles is illegal in India, about which the Supreme Court has also given directions. For this, it is necessary to take permission from the Local Road Transport Office ie RTO, whether the modification is done to a car or a bike.
