Ingredients for Kadhai Paneer
Paneer – 300 grams
Tomato – 3
Capsicum (square cut) – 1
Onion (square cut) – 2
Cashew – 12-14
Oil – 3 tbsp
Green chili – 2
Green coriander (finely chopped) – 3 tbsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/3 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Kasuri Methi – 1 tbsp
Ginger paste – 1 tsp
Red chili – 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala – 1/4 tsp
Salt – as per taste

How to make Kadhai Paneer
To make Kadai Paneer, first take the paneer and cut it into 1-inch square pieces. Then take the onion and cut it into square pieces too. First clean the capsicum thoroughly with water and then cut it into square pieces. Now take a deep bottomed pan. Put oil in it and keep it on medium flame. Now add paneer pieces in it and stir slowly. After two minutes, turn off the gas and take out the pieces of paneer from the pan.

Now put capsicum and chopped onion in the same pan and fry it till they become crispy. During this, take tomatoes, green chilies, cashew nuts and prepare a paste by putting them in a mixer. Now again put the pan on the flame. Add cumin seeds to it and then add coriander, turmeric, kasoori fenugreek, asafoetida and fry it well. Then add tomato, ginger paste and cashew paste to it. Now add red chili powder and cook the spices on low flame till the spices leave the oil.

After this add garam masala and salt as per taste. Put half a cup of water on top as well. Then mix it and fry it well, add paneer, capsicum and onion pieces and stir it well. Put green coriander on top as well. Now keep it covered for about 5 minutes and let it cook. In this way your Kadhai Paneer is ready. Now take it out in a serving bowl, garnish with green coriander and then serve it with naan or paratha.
