Ingredients for making Paneer Cheela
Paneer – 1/2 cup
Washed Moong dal – 1/2 cup
Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
Green coriander – 1/4 cup
Green chili – 4
Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
oil/butter
Salt – as per taste

How to make Paneer Cheela
To make Paneer Cheela, first soak the washed moong dal overnight. Now take the paneer and grate it well. After this, finely chop green chili and green coriander. Now grind the soaked lentils in a mixer grinder. Before grinding it, also add ginger, green chili, salt and half a cup of water to it. Now take out the paste of lentils in a vessel. After that add asafoetida and mix it well.

Now take a separate vessel and prepare the stuffing by mixing grated paneer, finely chopped green chillies, coriander leaves, salt and chaat masala in it. Now take a nonstick pan/tawa and put it on medium flame and add some oil. Now put moong dal paste in the middle of the pan and spread it in a circular motion all around. When the cheela is cooked from the bottom side, turn it over and spread the oil around the cheela with the help of a spoon. Similarly, roast the cheela well from both the sides. When the cheela is cooked, switch off the gas.
After this, take out the cheela in a plate. Put 2 spoons of paneer stuffing in it and spread it. Now fold the cheela from the middle. In this way your Tasty Paneer Cheela is ready. Serve it with sauce or chutney for breakfast.
