1. Use of airtight compartment – If you want your sweets to be stored well for a long time, then you can use airtight bins. This time, if you have made a lot of dry sweets like sweet snacks, laddoos or shakarpare, then keep them in an airtight box. If dry sweets are kept in the open, they get sealed due to air exposure. Also, sweets should be kept in such a place from where they do not feel damp.
2. Use of glass jar – If you want to store Sheera Wali (wet sweets) for a long time, then put it in a glass jar and keep it in a cool place. Whenever you want to serve these sweets, take them out of the jar and give them to the guests. After this, close the jar box tight.
3. Keep in a cool place or fridge – Sweet dishes should always be kept in a cool place as there is a risk of them spoiling quickly if kept in a warm place. Although sweets are usually kept like this in homes, but this increases the possibility of their spoilage. Actually the temperature of the kitchen is slightly higher than the rest of the house. In such a situation, try not to keep sweets in the kitchen. Keep it in a different place or store it in the fridge.
4. Keep away from places with moisture – Avoid keeping sweets in damp places or else the sweets get spoiled quickly. Along with this, one should avoid putting wet hands in dry sweets or even wet spoons should not be put in them. Once there is moisture in dry sweets, then they are sure to spoil soon.
