Ingredients for making Til-Jaggery Barfi
Sesame – 2 cups
Jaggery – 1 cup
Almonds chopped – 10
Ghee – 1/4 cup
Cardamom Hut – 8-10

How to make Sesame Jaggery Barfi
To make Til Jaggery Barfi, first take sesame seeds and fry them in a pan. Keep stirring continuously while roasting sesame seeds or else it may burn. Roast sesame till it swells slightly or changes color slightly. After the sesame is roasted, take it out in a plate. It will take about three to four minutes to cook it. If roasted more than this, it may taste bitter.

After roasting sesame seeds, put ghee in the pan and keep it to heat. When the ghee melts completely, add crushed jaggery to it. Then also add a quarter cup of water to it. Let this mixture cook till the jaggery dissolves completely with the water. Keep stirring it in between. In this way, the jaggery syrup will be ready in no time.
Meanwhile, take the roasted sesame seeds and grind them with the help of a mixer grinder. Keep in mind that instead of grinding it finely, it has to be coarsely ground. After this, put the ground sesame in the prepared syrup of jaggery. Now keep the flame of the gas slow and mix this mixture well. Cook it till the sesame seeds get mixed well in the syrup.

Now add coarsely ground cardamom powder to it. Now heat this mixture till it starts thickening. Now take a tray or plate and grease its bottom with ghee. Now put the prepared mixture in this tray / platter and spread it well all around. Now put chopped almonds on it
Put the pieces and press them lightly. Now let this paste cool down for half an hour. After cooling, cut them in the shape of barfi. In this way your Til-Jaggery Barfi is ready. You and your whole family can enjoy this in winter season.
