Considering a Tourist Visa
Corona cases are decreasing across the country. Therefore, the central government is contemplating to resume tourist visa very soon to boost the economy. According to sources in the Ministry of Home Affairs, the government can take a decision on this soon. There is a possibility that the government may only allow such tourists to apply for visas, who have taken both doses of the vaccine. It is worth noting that the tourist visa has been suspended since March 2020. Several categories of visas such as business, employment and others were exempted, but the ban on tourist visas continued. However, many Gulf countries have resumed tourist visas.
