Triumph is about to launch this special motorcycle in India, the company expressed hope of increasing sales

New Delhi: Britain’s premium bike maker Triumph Motorcycles expects sales in India to grow by 10 percent for a year till June 2020. The financial year of Triumph Motorcycles is from July to June. Shoaib Farooq, General Manager of the company said, “We have launched many new products. These will help us to make up for lower sales in the first half, from which we are expecting a 10 per cent growth in sales during the year.

The company has recently launched its flagship model Rocket 3R. Its price is Rs 18 lakh. The company intends to launch two more new products during January to June 2020. Apart from this, the company is preparing to launch a bike compliant with Bharat Phase-6 (BS-6) emission norms in January. The company intends to make all its product range compliant with the new emission norms by March.

Farooq said, “This year in the period from September to November, we have registered a good growth of nine to 10 per cent. This is a positive sign after a weak July-August period. He said the company is expecting five to ten per cent growth from December. Farooq said, “If this trend continues, we will cross the 1,000 motorcycle sales mark in the current financial year. This will be an increase of five to ten percent as compared to the previous financial year.
